More about Anthony

Anthony's knowledge of music is undergirded by a basic training in classical music, which he received in his younger years when he studied the violin. His ability was further developed when he attended Hartford Conservatory in Hartford, CT in 1989-90, and through private study with a number of top jazz players in his home state of Connecticut. In 1990, at the age of 20, he was accepted into the Jazz Studies program at New England Conservatory on the basis of his early accomplishments in jazz composition. (He never attended the school because of a personal decision regarding his career direction at the time.)

His experience includes eight years of directing a church choir, where he honed his skills in developing vocal and instrumental arrangements. In more recent times in his musical journey, he has done live performances of straight-ahead jazz and original "smooth jazz" compositions at local upscale venues. His appreciation and experience cover a wide range of the spectrum of musical styles, including explorations of Reggae, Salsa and other Latin and Caribbean styles.

His live work can include performances at weddings, dinners, parties, churches and other events.

His professional music writing work includes composing/songwriting, and the arrangement and production of works using Apple's Logic 9 software.
